Annie brings nearly 20 years of experience in the financial community to StreetSmart. During her tenure at Montgomery Securities as a corporate finance professional, she completed more than 80 equity, private placement, fixed income and merger and acquisition transactions. Working closely with pre and post-IPO companies to understand their financial needs, develop the most effective messages for the investment community, she gained a deep understanding of the dynamic financial markets and “Street” perceptions. Her desire to apply in-depth research to understanding her clients led to her years in sell-side research at UBS. There, she gleaned a keen sense of the inner-workings of companies and the challenges they face, as well as the buy-side’s requirements for investment, leading to her ability to ask the ‘right’ questions and craft compelling investment stories. These relationships with the street formed the basis for her strong communication and advisory skills. This culminated in the founding of a unique IR firm in StreetSmart several years ago, filling a much-needed niche for informative, knowledgeable investor relations for strong companies and management teams at various stages of development.
